Salary: £22,500 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours with flexibility
Overview of the role
To develop specialist Domestic Violence Advocacy services for male victims in West Lancashire.
As the male IDVA role is new to TLC, this will consist of developing the project, establishing links, networking with relevant agencies and promoting the services provided by TLC.
Develop and provide a professional advice, information and support service to male victims of domestic violence & abuse, ensuring the range, effectiveness and suitability of options that improve their safety and that of their children. To base all work on an understanding and assessment of risk and its management, where possible as part of a multi-agency approach.
To provide this service both at the point of crisis and offering medium and long-term safety and support, addressing all cultural and personal needs.
