What We Do
The charity has been established for over 30 years, starting off providing emergency refuge accommodation for women fleeing domestic violence and abuse. Over the years, further services have been added including supporting survivors of domestic abuse in the refuge, in their homes or in the community, supporting women and children, supporting male victims, offering counselling, providing legal support, doing preventative work, running support groups and offering training.
The organisation has an Information Centre in Ormskirk with a ‘walk-in’ service. We can accommodate 9 women and children in our Refuge which is located in West Lancashire area.
There are currently 25 members of staff employed and we offer opportunities for volunteering.
