Providing Support across West Lancashire

The Liberty Centre was founded in 1987 and we have been providing domestic abuse specialist services for almost 40 years across West Lancashire, supporting adults, children and young people to live a life free from abuse.

We are a dedicated domestic abuse charity providing support to adults, young people, and children impacted by domestic abuse. We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe in their relationships. Our compassionate team offers inclusive, non-judgemental guidance and support to help individuals find safety, strength, and hope. We place individuals contacting our services at the heart of everything we do, involving them in decisions about their support to ensure their voices shape the support they receive and the outcomes they achieve.

We recognise that domestic abuse can affect anyone, it is most commonly perpetrated by men against women but men can also be affected.
